WCRC has 300 peaceful wooded acres on the Tidewater Peninsula in Southeastern Virginia.
It’s a peaceful oasis with canopied forests for hiking, open fields, and other recreation facilities near Williamsburg, VA, for games and gatherings. Beavers, deer, wild turkeys, and blue heron call WCRC home allowing guests to experience God’s creation in all its splendor. Our campus hosts year‑round retreats and our popular Summer Camp in June & July. Stories from the Heart

“… He committed his life to Jesus.”
“Dear WCRC: my son was a participant of Summer Camp at WCRC where he committed his life to Jesus. He is now taking the next step in his Christian walk and has asked to be baptized. His baptism will occur this coming Sunday.
I know it is unlikely that you and his counselors would be able to come, but I do want to extend an invitation for you to join us in this celebration. He had two counselors: Jonathon and Poncho.”
“Matters of the Heart”
“In planning for the upcoming homeschooling year, about a week before the retreat God had made it clear to me that we needed to focus on ‘Matters of the Heart.’
I kept repeating these words that God revealed to me to my family and friends leading up to the retreat. And shortly after we arrived we found out that “Matters of the Heart” was the series we would be exploring throughout our time at WCRC. My husband, my daughter, and I were amazed at this confirmation from God that “Matters of the Heart” were of the utmost importance in the upcoming year.
Also, we had been struggling with issues such as coveting and wanting to see movies and read books that are not in line with God’s teachings, and sure enough one of the messages pertained to guarding our hearts against worldly things, specifically those that our family had been struggling with.
God knew what we were experiencing at home and addressed it all perfectly (as only He can). Our entire experience can best be summed up as a true gift from our Heavenly Father that we will cherish always.“
