Leadership Team
| Assistant Program Director A leadership position that requires camp counseling experience as well as administrative aptitude. Responsibilities include assisting the Program Director with summer camp schedules, curriculum, registrations and other office work. Age: 19+ Pay: $250+/week, room & board provided Serve: 8-10 weeks Prerequisites: Experience as a counselor in a Christian camp setting. | Head Counselor A leadership position requiring organizational aptitude and the ability to lead groups of participants in a variety of activities. This position is a resource position for counselors. A “counselor-to-the-counselors.” Responsibilities include leading evening recreation, supervising counselors, and helping counselors with camper issues. Age: 18+ Pay: $250+/week, room & board provided Serve: 8-10 weeks Prerequisites: Experience as a counselor in a Christian camp setting. |
| Support Staff Coordinator A leadership position requiring camp counseling experience as well as leadership aptitude. Responsibilities include leading Activities Staff and Camp Photographer and assisting the Program Director with day-to-day operation of camp. Age: 19+ Pay: $250+/week, room & board provided Serve: 8-10 weeks Prerequisites: Experience as a counselor in a Christian camp setting. |
| Senior Counselor Responsibilities include leadership and discipleship of 5-10 campers per week. This includes living with the campers 24 hours a day, leading devotions, helping campers to grow spiritually, and leading camp activities. This job is physically demanding, involves outdoor activities, and a commitment to safety. Age: 18+ (At least one year out of high school) Pay: $200+/week, room & board provided Serve: 3-9 weeks of the summer schedule | Junior Counselor Responsibilities include leading program activities and assisting senior counselors in safety, supervision, leadership, and discipleship of campers. Junior counselors also learn about the camp program and develop skills through observation and practical experience. Age: 17+ Pay: $150+/week, room & board provided Serve: 3-6 weeks of the summer schedule |
| Activities Staff Responsibilities include setting up and taking down camp activities and helping facilitate ropes course activities. This job is physically demanding and involves outdoor activities. Requires a strong commitment to safety. Age: 17+ Pay: $180+/week, room & board provided Serve: 8-10 weeks | Camp Photographer Responsibilities include traveling around camp taking photos of campers at activities, creating a slideshow for the Closing Program, taking a group photo that can be purchased by parents, and downloading photos to our database and emailing the link to parents. Age: 18+ Pay: $180+/week, room & board provided Serve: 8-10 weeks |
| Camp Health Coordinator Responsibilities include attending to ill and injured campers/staff, maintaining/dispensing camper medications, and communicating with camper parents regarding camper health issues. Age: 19+ Pay: $250+/week, room and board provided Serve: 8-9 weeks Prerequisites: Must hold/be pursuing a degree in the medical field | Ministry Leadership Training Program Leader Responsibilities include preparing training sessions for and leading the Ministry Leadership Training Program. Requires several meetings and preparation time before the program begins. Age: 19+ Pay: $ /week, room and board provided Serve: 2 weeks Prerequisites: Experience as a counselor in a Christian camp setting. |
Lifeguarding
| Head Lifeguard Responsibilities include working as a lifeguard, surveillance of swimmers, preventing and responding to any emergencies, pool maintenance, supervision of lifeguards, and some pool-related administration. Age: 18+ Pay: Please inquire about current pay rates Serve: 12-14 weeks Prerequisites: lifeguard certification, lifeguard experience, and guest relations skills. | Lifeguard Responsibilities include surveillance of swimmers, preventing and responding to any emergencies, keeping record of chlorine and pH levels, and cleaning the pool. Age: 16+ Pay: Please inquire about current pay rates Serve: 6-14 weeks Prerequisites: lifeguard certification |
