Nonprofit Board and Staff Retreats Near Williamsburg VA
Refocus your mission. Reconnect your people. Renew your passion for serving.
Restorative Retreat Experience for Your Non-Profit Team
If your non-profit board and staff feel stretched thin or out of sync, you’re not alone. The day-to-day demands of running a nonprofit can leave little room to rest or reconnect.
At Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center, we offer retreats for non-profits that give your team a chance to step away, recharge, and realign around your shared mission.
Nonprofit Staff Retreats: Get the Rest Your Team Needs to Reconnect
When your team is running on empty, collaboration suffers and your mission can lose direction. Our retreats for non-profits are designed with resources and guided activities that help staff and board members reconnect, recharge, and return with a clear plan forward.
You’ll leave with stronger relationships, clearer goals, and a renewed sense of direction to carry your mission forward.
Recharge and Reconnect as a Team on Your Next Retreat
Our retreats for non-profits are designed to create space for reflection, collaboration, and meaningful team bonding.
Reflect
Step away from the daily routine and reconnect with what drew your team to this mission in the first place. Wander scenic trails, spot local wildlife, or explore things to do in nearby Colonial Williamsburg or Busch Gardens.Â
Collaborate
Collaborate with your group through team-building games that bring everyone together as well as help you discover your group’s strengths and weaknesses in communication, creativity, leadership, and listening skills. You’ll bond through games like Team Trolley, Moonball to Mars, and challenge course activities.
Bond
Bond with your teammates while participating in popcorn bonfires, our outdoor swimming pool, canoeing, kayaking, wagon rides, and zip line adventures. Enjoy the outdoors together during your team’s retreat.

We were just recently there for a church retreat What a wonderful place!!! Located in the middle of the forest like an oasis
Surely the Holy Spirit has one of his favorite locations there We will indeed come back💓 -
My 11-year daughter had the time of her life at the Summer Camp at WCRC! At first, we were a little concerned because she would be with other campers older than her (up to age 13) and we weren’t sure what to expect She was very shy the first day and after I dropped her off I wondered if she would be included with the other older girls in her cabin I was reassured that she had a great time when she came home and said that she had made 9 new friends and that she couldn’t wait to go back next year She told me about the delicious food they served (which made me feel bad that I don’t provide hot meals every morning!) and the wonderful activities like the pool and zipline She loved their hilarious camp skits that taught her lessons and she really loved the canoeing/kayaking The staff, including Josh, was always very helpful, including taking personal texts from me during the camp week We really appreciate the WCRC providing awesome activities that are truly fun for youth and also lead them closer to God!

WCRC is absolutely beautiful and you couldn’t ask for a more friendly staff My girls who have attended camps in the summer had nothing but great things to say about their experience My husband and our family were treated very well while he volunteered as a speaker We truly treasured our little getaway Thank you for your hospitality!

Was here for a retreat with church friends and it was a great experience No TV or “business” to distract from a get away I like how they have different kinds of experiences, whether you want to stay in a lodge, cabin, or set up a trailer, this place has it all for a great camping experience
