A monthly gathering for men to connect, unwind, and talk about faith and life. Whether you’re navigating career and family, enjoying retirement, or somewhere in between, there’s a place for you around the fire.

S’mores Around the Fire

🕖 7:00 PM
Come enjoy a fire, s’mores, conversation, and good company.
Bring: A camp chair and a friend. We’ll handle the firewood and s’mores!
🌿 Women Rooted Together
A monthly gathering for women to connect, encourage one another, enjoy the outdoors, and grow together in faith. Each month will offer something a little different—from walks and conversation to seasonal activities, service opportunities, and time around the table or fire.

Come as you are, meet some new women, enjoy a walk around WCRC, and spend time connecting with others in the community.

🌱 Iron to Iron Young Adults
For young adults ages 18–29
Building meaningful friendships and growing in faith is better together. Iron to Iron is a monthly gathering for young adults ages 18–29 to connect, have fun, explore faith, and build a community that goes beyond a single event.
Inspired by Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another,” Iron to Iron creates space for authentic conversations, friendship, faith, and fun.

Popcorn Bonfire, Wagon Ride & Crafts

Come hang around the fire, take a wagon ride, get creative, and meet other young adults from the Williamsburg area.

WHY KINGDOM COMMUNITY?
At Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center, we believe ministry doesn’t have to happen only during summer camp or a weekend retreat.
Sometimes ministry looks like sitting around a fire.
Sometimes it’s a walk with a new friend.
Sometimes it’s a conversation over coffee.
And sometimes it’s simply having a place where you know you belong.
Kingdom Community gives people in Williamsburg and the surrounding Hampton Roads community a regular opportunity to experience WCRC, build relationships, and grow together.

Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center
Kingdom Community gatherings take place at Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center in Williamsburg, Virginia, where our property provides a unique setting for connection, recreation, outdoor activities, and spiritual growth.
These monthly events are free and open to the public, but RSVPs are helpful so we can plan accordingly. Feel free to bring a friend to join or come solo—we look forward to seeing you!

Directions from Williamsburg, VA:
- Take Interstate 64 to Exit 227.
- Head north on Route 30 for approximately 1 mile.
- Turn left onto Route 601 (Barnes Road).
- Continue 1 mile; the retreat center entrance will be on the right.
